The Health Industry has made big moves into Glendale

Within the past fiscal year alone, Glendale has filled 1.3 million square feet of office space with health and education companies, bringing 1,042 new jobs to the city.  Those jobs represent 60% of the 1,776 total jobs created in Glendale during the 2009-10 fiscal year ended June 30.  The businesses were a mixture of companies new to Glendale as well as expansions.
